A very good copy of Robert Frost's 1930 Pulitzer Prize-winning Collected Poems in a well-preserved dust jacket. This is the stated First Trade edition, first printing, using plates from the signed limited edition and featuring the "Laces" error on page 128, line 8. It includes Frost's most popular poems from A Boy's Will (1913) through West Running Brook (1928). This copy has a portrait of Frost signed by Doris Ulmann tipped in before the title page, with Frost's facsimile signature below. The book, 8vo, has 349 pages and is bound in the publisher's light orange-brown linen cloth boards with gilt-stamped titles on the front and spine. The corners are rubbed, spine tips softened with fraying at the lower spine, and the spine shows darkening and some spotting on the boards. A small address label is on the upper front flyleaf, and the rear flyleaf has been removed. The book has a slight musty odor. The dust jacket is in better condition than usual, with the folds clipped as usual, showing the $5.00 price on the upper front flap. There is some sunning on the spine and a small piece chipped from the upper spine end. Overall, this is a very good copy from a small print run of 3,800 copies of the first trade edition.
