A near fine copy of the 1942 signed limited edition of 735 copies published April 23rd, 1942, by Henry Holt and Company, New York and priced at $7.50. This copy is numbered 405 and signed by the poet on the limitation page as called for. (St. C. Crane A25) It features the frontispiece portrait of Robert Frost by Enit Kaufman. An attractive copy housed in a very good paper slipcase. 
 
Condition: 8vo. 91 pages. Publishers grey-green decorative paper covered boards with shelfback of dark grey-green linen cloth stamped in gilt print. This volume is in near fine condition with a lengthy May 1942 gift inscription in ink to the front pastedown. The grey paper slipcase is in very good or better condition with a small chip to the paper on the upper front and a small bump to the upper back corner. Overall, a very nice example of this sought after 1942 Robert Frost signed limited edition.
