The second collection of Derleth's fiction published by Arkham House, twenty-one tales that first appeared in the pulps, including Fantastic Adventures, Strange Stories, Top-Notch and eleven and "Weird Tales Magazine". 

Condition: 8vo. 274pp. - Publishers' black cloth boards with titles stamped in gilt on the spine. A very good copy with corners and spine tips lightly bumped and a few marks visible on the cloth. Binding tight and interior clean and unmarked. The dust jacket with the $3.00 price designed by Ronald Clyne is a beauty and in very good+ condition. Light creasing to the edges and spine tips, a crease along the spine with a bit of sunning. Some toning visible along the edges and rear panel.

Overall, a very collectible copy of this early Arkham title. From the library of early Arkham and Fantasy Press Sci-fi collector George A. Richardson with his neat Ex-Libris label affixed to the front flyleaf.
