Condition
Corners bumped and rubbed; spine sunned with light creasing and frayed tips. Front flyleaf removed; Toning/offsetting to rear flyleaf. Ex‑libris label to front pastedown. A few small rings and a faint damp mark to the front boards—perhaps the ghost of a long‑vanished glass of "Vin de France". Text clean, binding firm. A very good example of this important and uncommon edition.
