•  Illustrations: 92 black‑and‑white plates by Sir John Tenniel.
 
•  Binding: Brown polished calf, gilt‑ruled, with gilt characters (The Rabbit and The Red Queen) stamped on both front and rear covers. Five‑hub gilt decorated spines. Marbled endpapers, gilt dentelles, all edges gilt, marbled endpapers.
 
•  Condition: Tight bindings, interiors clean and unmarked. Light wear along joints and spine tips; faint toning to decorated endpapers; a tiny spot to the leather outer front edge of Through the Looking‑Glass. Overall, a remarkably well‑preserved set.
