Bound in black cloth with gold paper labels stamped in black to the spine and front cover. The binding presents better than typically encountered, with light edgewear, bumped and rubbed corners, and softened spine tips showing minor fraying. Some discoloration is visible on the rear board. The spine label shows a few small chips, and the front cover label exhibits mild rubbing.
The fore‑edge remains untrimmed, as issued. A neat Ex‑Libris label is affixed to the front pastedown, with corresponding offsetting to the flyleaf. A minor repair to the rear gutter. A crease to the lower outer edge of page 271. The interior is clean, unmarked, and free of foxing, offering an attractive text block for reading or display.
