Large 4to 198 pages - Near fine in publisher’s vellum, gilt‑lettered, with green silk ties intact. Frontispiece + 21 tipped‑in color plates, each with decorative and titled tissue guards. Top edge gilt, others uncut. Boards slightly bowed as is usual, toning to the velum boards and to interior page evenly toned along the edges.  A lavishly produced Barrie–Thomson collaboration, scarce in such condition.
