Stated First Edition. 8vo, 223 pp. Original grey cloth with orange spine lettering. With the original first-state dust jacket retaining the $2.50 price, #1498-49 code on the lower front flap, and advertisement for Max Ehrlich’s The Big Eye on the rear flap. The price and rear-flap advertisement correspond with other documented first-edition jackets. 

Book Near Fine, with slight cocking to the front board and lightly bumped spine tips. Jacket Very Good, with light edge, fold and spine-tip wear and a dampstain along the extreme left rear panel and right edge of the rear flap, not affecting text.
