A 1964 first edition from Random House, New York in a near very good dust jacket and signed by the author and playwright in ink on the front flyleaf. Illustrated. It would become Neil Simon's longest running Broadway play. The Tony Award winning production starring Robert Redford and Elizabeth Ashley opened on Broadway at the Biltmore Theatre on October 23, 1963, and closed on June 25, 1967, after 1,530 performances. 8vo, 143 pages - (8.50 x 5.50") cloth-backed boards with front corners and spine tips lightly bumped. The unclipped dust jacket with the $3.95 price and 9/64 date code on the front flap is chipped at the fold, spine ends and upper rear cover with sunning to the spine, toning to the covers and a dampstain visible along the upper rear cover. Overall, a very good and quite scarce signed 1964 first edition.
