Dorothy L. Sayers Omnibus

Harcourt, Brace and Company, ca. 1932. Scarce 995‑page single‑volume collection of three early Lord Peter Wimsey novels: Whose Body? (1923), The Unpleasantness at the Bellona Club (1928), and Suspicious Characters (1931; published in the UK as The Five Red Herrings).

Condition: 8vo. Pagination: Whose Body? 252 pp.; The Unpleasantness at the Bellona Club 345 pp.; Suspicious Characters 398 pp. Publisher’s dark blue cloth with red lettering to front board and spine. Light bumping to corners and spine tips. Previous owner’s inked name on front pastedown; small Boston "Old Corner Book Store" label on lower front flyleaf. Interior clean and unmarked.

Scarce original dust jacket present clipped at the tips but with the $2.00 price present. Very good overall, with chipping at folds and spine ends, minor loss at upper spine tip, light creasing to upper rear panel, and toning to flaps and rear panel.

A difficult Sayers omnibus to find in jacket, especially in this condition.
