Robert Frost — The Complete Poems of Robert Frost (1949) No. 322 of Only 500 Copies

A scarce and highly desirable signed limited edition of The Complete Poems of Robert Frost, published by Henry Holt in 1949. One of just 500 numbered copies, each signed by Frost on the limitation page—issued at a moment when Frost was already a four‑time Pulitzer Prize winner and firmly established as America’s most celebrated living poet.

This edition brings together the full body of Frost’s poetry to date, presented in an elegant large‑format volume with a photographic frontispiece portrait. The limitation of only 500 copies makes this one of Frost’s most sought‑after postwar signed editions, prized by collectors for its quality production and its place near the culmination of Frost’s career.

Details & Condition Large 8vo. Bound in the publisher’s tan linen with gilt spine lettering. Printed on heavy white wove paper with blue-green top stained edges and blue-green endpapers. Faint sunning to the spine and some staining to the edges of the text block, a bump to the lower corner of the rear boards, but internally clean and bright. A solid, very good example of this notoriously fragile limited issue.

A cornerstone Frost collectible—rare, tightly held, and increasingly difficult to find in honest, well‑preserved condition. Essential for any serious Frost collection or library of American poetry.
