Condition: Octavo (7.5" x 5.25") 110pp. - Publishers' black cloth with gilt stamped print to the spine. A near fine copy with spine tips gently pushed and a few finger smudges to the black cloth. Binding tight, interior clean and unmarked with a bit of toning to the endpapers. The scarce $2.00 dust jacket is in very good condition with rubbing along the folds, spine and front panel. Chipping to the upper edge and spine tips. 

Overall, a very collectible 1948 first edition of Seabury's Fantasy legend of Santa Clause illustrated by Finlay.
