Lovecraft, H. P.; August Derleth ~ The Lurker at the Threshold ~ Arkham House, 1945 First Edition.

A very good copy in a very good unclipped $2.50 Ronald Clyne designed dust jacket.

Condition: 8vo. (7.5" x 5.25") 196 pp. Publishers' Dark blue cloth over boards with gilt title stamped titles to spine. A bit of rubbing to the cloth boards with corners and spine tips lightly bumped. The dust jacket is in very good condition with edgewear, chipping at the fold and spine tips, sunning to the spine and light toning to the rear panel.

From the library of early Arkham House and Fantasy Press Sci-Fi collector Robert A. Richardson with his neat Ex LIBRIS bookplate affixed to the front flyleaf. Overall, a quite collectable copy of this 1945 early collaboration from two of Sci-Fi, Fantasy and Horror Fictions most notable figures.
