A very good or better copy of the 1923 Harper and Brothers First Edition. To this day Wanderer of the Wasteland remains one of Zane Grey's most popular novels. A First Printing with the L-W date code on the copyright page. This copy is housed in a Very Good and quite striking color dust jacket with the C.W. Woodruff illustration. It also features the frontispiece and two black and white interior illustrations by W. Herbert Dunton.  Condition: 8vo. 419pp. Bound in the original red and black pictorial cloth with some rubbing to the corners and softening to the spine ends. The dust jacket with the $2.00 price is in collectible condition with browning to the spine, toning to the front and back covers and light wear at the fold and spine ends.   
 
Zane Grey Photograph - 3½x5¾ overall, image size 2¾x4 - Description: Tipped into the front of the book is a circa 1920's black and white formal portrait of the author with shirt and tie. The photograph is signed: "Zane Grey" in his signature purple ink at the bottom. Some toning along the edges and a crease along the upper right corner. The signature is fine, and the photo is in good or better condition.
