A very good copy of the 1942 stated first edition of Majesty's Rancho with the Harper & Brothers date code (C-R) on the copyright page. Housed in a very good dust jacket with the $2.00  price and "The New 1942  Zane Grey Novel" sticker to the front panel. This is the sequel to The Light Of Western Stars, and gives a contemporary updating to the 1914 story. 12mo. 297pp. Grey cloth stamped in black and red. The rear boards are slightly cocked and there is a bump to the upper front corners, softening to the lower spine and some toning/soiling to page edges. The interior is clean and unmarked with some toning to the endpapers. The beautiful four color dust jacket shows some chipping at the folds and spine ends and a little sunning to the spine and some toning to the back cover. Overall a very good copy of the 1st edition.
